As an IoT intern, I gained practical experience in designing and prototyping home automation systems using a variety of microcontrollers and wireless protocols like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. During this time, I also collaborated on a research paper on an IoT-based intravenous tube flow control device, which was published in the 2020 IEEE International Students' Conference.

My career then pivoted towards cloud computing and data engineering. I joined

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in January 2021 as an Assistant System Engineer. In this role, I served as a Python and AWS developer, focusing on building event-driven applications and migrating legacy systems to a serverless architecture on AWS. I successfully leveraged AWS Lambda (Python), AWS CloudFormation, and REST APIs to process files and send data to Appian, a business process management platform. This work led to an 80% reduction in infrastructure costs.

My proven expertise and contributions led to my promotion to Senior Data Engineer (System Engineer) in January 2023. In this capacity, I have been instrumental in managing large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes for a leading US asset management company. A key achievement in this role was leading the migration of multiple AWS EMR jobs to AWS Glue, which involved rewriting Scala code to Python and resulted in a

30% reduction in AWS infrastructure costs and operational expenditures. I have also been responsible for orchestrating the integration of a wide range of AWS services, including EMR, S3, Glue, Lambda, and Athena, into the development process.

Throughout my journey, I have prioritized continuous learning and skill development, earning several key certifications, including AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
